The Horse Listener - Waitlist

I run a group coaching program called The Horse Listener where I guide riders to become the expert their horse has been waiting for.

The program isn't open for application right now, but there is a waitlist you can join.

Disclaimer: This is an educational program. Results vary by individual. Requires consistent practice for 6 weeks.

Included on this page is a free training I made on The Mirror concept and full details about working with me.

Should you wish to be on the waitlist for the next time I open, fill in the form at the bottom of the page.

For any questions about The Horse Listener, you may email [email protected]

If you do that, you will be among the first to get notified when doors open.

Get Your Tense, Tight-Backed Horse Releasing and Swinging in 6 Weeks Through The AAA Framework

For riders who are done cycling through trainers, equipment, and experts while their horse stays tight, reactive, and resistant.

The Problem You're Facing

You've spent thousands on trainers, saddle fitters, vets, and equipment.

Your horse's back stays tight. The strides remain choppy. The tail swishes through every transition.

You're working harder, trying more, and getting the same result.

Here's what I've learned after 30 years with horses:

The horse isn't the problem. The horse is the mirror.

When you're holding tension—whether it's anxiety, pain, overwhelm, or disconnection—your horse reflects it back.

That tight back? That's your nervous system speaking through theirs.

The choppy strides? That's the pattern of how you're showing up.

The resistance? That's your horse telling you exactly what you need to change.

But nobody taught you how to read what your horse has been showing you all along.

What The Horse Listener Actually Does

The Horse Listener is a 6-week group coaching program that teaches you to become the expert your horse has been waiting for.

You'll learn to read what your horse is telling you before you even touch them.

You'll understand your own body's role in every interaction.

You'll know exactly what your horse needs from you in each moment.

The transformation happens through the AAA Framework:

Awareness - Recognize the patterns your horse is showing you

Assessment - Understand what those patterns mean

Adjusting - Make the changes that create lasting connection

By Week 6, you stop cycling through solutions that don't work.

Your horse's back releases. The strides lengthen. The tail stops swishing.

Not because you did more—because you became the rider your horse could finally relax with.

The 3 Stages of The Horse Listener

Stage 1: Ground Without Tack (Weeks 1-2)

You start by learning to read your horse from the ground with nothing between you.

I'll help you develop awareness of your horse's body language, energy shifts, and subtle signals.

You'll learn what they're telling you about their physical and emotional state.

By Week 2, you'll walk up to your horse and know—without guessing—exactly what state they're in and what they need from you.

Stage 2: Ground With Tack (Weeks 3-4)

Now you introduce tack while staying on the ground.

You're learning to maintain connection while adding complexity.

You'll assess how your horse responds to the saddle and bridle.

I'll show you specific exercises to address any tension or resistance.

By Week 4, your horse will show you they actually want you on their back.

Stage 3: Rider On Board (Weeks 5-6)

In our final stage, you apply everything from Stages 1 and 2 while riding.

You'll understand both your horse and your own body in the saddle.

Every ride becomes progress.

Every session brings clarity, connection, and that feeling of partnership you've been searching for.

Payment: Immediate Access to Your Foundation

The moment you secure your spot, you receive:

Your first Awareness training video that shows you exactly what patterns to look for in your horse.

The Daily Diary system - a simple tracking tool for both you and your horse that reveals the patterns you've been missing.

This diary takes just 5 minutes per day, but it's the foundation of everything that follows.

You'll start seeing connections between your state and your horse's behaviour within the first 3 days.

Week 1: The Foundation of Awareness (Ground Without Tack)

Your first live group call happens on Friday.

I'll teach you what to look for in your horse's body language, energy shifts, and subtle signals so you can complete your diary with precision.

This isn't about learning more techniques.

This is about learning to see what your horse has been showing you all along.

During this week you will:

Recognize the specific signals that indicate tension, relaxation, or resistance in your horse

Understand how your own nervous system state shows up in your horse's behavior

Begin tracking patterns that reveal the root cause of your horse's tightness

By the end of Week 1, you'll approach your horse with awareness instead of assumptions.

Week 2: Reading Your Horse Like a Book (Ground Without Tack)

Week 2 deepens your awareness work.

You continue your daily diary tracking while I show you how to assess what those patterns actually mean.

We focus on:

Understanding what your horse's body is telling you about their emotional and physical state

Learning to adjust your own state, breath, and presence based on what your horse shows you

Developing the confidence to know - without guessing - what your horse needs from you

By the end of Week 2, you'll walk up to your horse and immediately know their state and readiness.

Your horse will show you softness. Relaxation. The kind of presence that tells you they're ready for more.

Week 3: Connection With Complexity (Ground With Tack)

Now you introduce tack while staying on the ground.

This week focuses on maintaining connection while adding complexity.

You'll learn:

How to assess your horse's response to saddle, bridle, and equipment

Specific exercises to address any tension or resistance that appears with tack

How to adjust your approach based on what your horse tells you in the moment

The daily diary continues, but now you're tracking how your horse responds to equipment.

Most riders discover their horse's "tack issues" disappear when they address their own state first.

Week 4: Building Trust and Readiness (Ground With Tack)

Week 4 completes Stage 2 of your journey.

You'll refine everything from Weeks 1-3 while working with tack on the ground.

By the end of this week:

Your horse shows you they actually want you on their back

The connection feels effortless instead of forced

You understand exactly when your horse is ready for the next step

Your second payment of £500 is due this week - right when you see the transformation from Stages 1 and 2.

Week 5: Rider On Board - Integration

This is where everything comes together.

You bring Stages 1 and 2 into the saddle.

During this week you will:

Apply the AAA Framework while riding

Understand both your horse's body and your own body in the saddle

Learn to adjust in real-time based on what your horse tells you

Every ride becomes progress instead of frustration.

Week 6: Mastery and Partnership

Your final week focuses on refinement and independence.

You're no longer guessing what your horse needs.

You've become a Horse Listener.

By the end of Week 6:

Your horse's back releases and swings instead of staying tight

The strides lengthen instead of staying choppy

The partnership you dreamed of becomes real

You'll have the tools to continue this work independently, with a full year of Skool community access to support you.

Guarantees & Promises

No guarantees, big promises or refunds.

Investment & Payment Terms

The investment is £1,000 total.

£500 when you join. £500 at the midpoint when you see the transformation from Stages 1 and 2.

If you're not staying after 6 weeks, you're free to leave with everything you've learned.

Six weeks from now, you'll be the rider your horse has been waiting for.

The investment pays for itself because you stop cycling through solutions that don't address the root cause.

If you've spent months trying different trainers at £80-150 per session, you're already at £1,000+.

If you've bought saddles or equipment hoping to fix the stiffness, that's another £500-2,000.

You won't need to spend six more months searching.

It takes just six weeks.

• Awareness that shows you exactly what your horse is telling you before patterns become problems.

• Assessment that translates your horse's signals into clear understanding of their physical and emotional state.

• Adjusting that gives you the precise changes needed to release tension and create connection.

After the 6 weeks you have the option to:

i) Leave with everything you've learned and continue your journey independently, or

ii) Join one of my other group programs to deepen your work with your horse.

Either way, you'll have access to our Skool community for a full year of membership.

About Me

I'm Nika Vorster.

I've worked with horses for 30 years as a professional rider and equine chiropractor.

After discovering that horses mirror their rider's state, I decided that the patterns are too big to ignore.

Today, I’ve shifted my focus from treating symptoms to teaching riders how to listen to their horses, and become the solution to their riding problems.

The riders I work with develop the kind of connection that transforms both horse and rider.

If you're ready to become one of them, let me know and help me help you.
